The POSnet application for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch functions as a client interface for the POSnet Server, a comprehensive restaurant management and point-of-sale system.

This application enables restaurant staff to place and manage orders directly from tables, facilitating more efficient use of time, space, and personnel resources.

Key functionalities include:

• Creating new orders at individual tables and within order groups.
• Viewing and editing existing orders from the current device, other devices on the same network, or directly from the server.
• Transferring orders and order groups between different tables or sections.
• Associating customers with orders or groups to facilitate loyalty discounts and itemized billing.
• Selecting items across multiple product categories and adding preparation notes.
• Grouping product orders into multiple courses as needed.
• Closing tables and processing payments through various methods including cash, credit card, and loyalty cards.
• Accessing payment statistics and cashier reports to monitor sales data.

The application includes a preconfigured sample database, allowing users to test its features prior to deployment in a live environment.
